From the Pastor,
“Marriage is honorable in all…” Hebrews 13:4
February is the month where many celebrate the relationship
they have with their “sweetheart”. The only and greatest sweetheart one can have is their spouse.
Marriage is honorable when marriage follows the origination of God’s plan for it. One
man to one woman for life. Husbands, we are to love our wives as Christ loved the church
and gave Himself for it (Eph. 5:25)! Wives, are to submit themselves to their husbands as to Jesus
Christ (Eph. 5:22). Husband and wife are to be equally submissive to the Lord and His will for
their marriage, children, home, and relationship!
So
many marriages today are breaking up. Some couples don't even want to enter into marriage, yet live together. Neither
is God's plan.
If a man and woman, both being believers in Christ,
make a commitment to marriage, place Christ FIRST in the marriage, both remaining faithful to one another, it will be an honorable
marriage unto God!
Thank you Christ for giving me a wonderful Christian woman,
Terri, to be married to for going on 25 years. I love her very much!

From the Minister of Music
“Let all that you do be done with love”. I Corinthians 16:14
Love is a great motivator. When we are motivated by love—we
can feed the hungry. When we are motivated by love—we can have
peace with our enemies. When we are motivated by love—we can have
joy in our homes. When we are motivated by love—we can have unity in
our church. When we are motivated by love—we can have purpose
in our lives.
….And now there abide faith,
hope, and love, these three; but the greatest of these is Love……
I Corinthians
13:13
It is a joy to serve the Lord at
Campfield Memorial. I pray that the love of Christ will guide each of us in our lives each day.

From the Minister of Students,
“Though I speak
with the tongues of men, and of angels, but have not love, I have become but a noisy gong, or a clanging cymbal”.
The month of Love is upon us. Scripture teaches us this fact about love, even if I communicate well
with men (have lots of friends, and wonderful conversations) and angels (heavenly communication, prayer) but do not have love,
it means NOTHING! The Bible teaches us that our lively friendships and flowery prayers are just a bunch
of “racket” in the ears of God, if in fact we are not a loving person. This is a personal challenge
to all of us. A challenge which commands that our words, to man or God, have love as their every motivation.
Before we say something, analyze its “love content”.
Take a look at I Corinthians 13
one more time. Read it and let it sink in. It convicts me every time I do.
